Be yourself.......so long as you're eco

One of the coolest parts about SF is the open-minded, self-expressive, be who you are attitude.  As Zoe put it, "you have to be REALLY weird to get noticed here".

The kids' school encourages expression:

Q as King in the movie his class made....

Z's class taught people yoga at the Academy of Science

X lit up dancing in the aisles at a performance at Fort Mason...

We followed suit at home & participated in a Greece sing-along...
(rode the city bus to the show - didn't seem abnormal at all)

So, while there is room for a lot of color in this city, there is some serious pressure to conform too....

You'll get guilted into recycling...

Reminded its righteous not to water...

Told soda is evil...

And that chicken wings are for hugging, not eating....

In the 'can't beat em, join em' spirit, Logan decided to go with it...

Got himself an electric car...
(OK, access to carpool lanes didn't hurt - regardless this city has a TON of 'green' cars)

So here's to enjoying expression and selectively lining up to conformity.
(Off now to go get a Diet Pepsi)
