Looking back for a theme...'BEACHY' comes to mind. Lucky has inspired us to visit the city's many beaches.
We've gone more in the past month than in the ~1 year prior....
(Q wanted to play frisbee with me - Lucky had other ideas)
(neither X nor Lucky tired of his kicking the ball)
(with coffee is the best!)
She's also prodding us to discover many a fab view hills...
With the added perk of random finds along the way....
(stummbled upon this 2-story slide coming down from Bernal)
And we're learning all about the thriving dog economy in this city...
('K9 Scrub Club - basically elevated bath tubs you rent to avoid the mess at home)
And since things were getting close to tame, we added a friend - Inky is a 10 month rescue....
(So far, I liken her to a beanbag with a head. One pet store lady assured me she will come around. But so far, I'm still kind of worried we'll forget we have her)
We got all touristy & visited the Coit Tower
The fab views weren't as engaging as messing with siblings....
Q's 6th grade class wrote, filmed & edited their own movie - centered around Egypt
And in a funky zoo like reptile rescue / science education type of center (owned by a parent at our school)
A star was born!
X celebrated opening day with his new baseball team
(the co-ed league was kicked off by the female Fire Chief - love that about SF)
Complete with a ski instructor in a chicken suit
And to really remind us where we are.....
...The steps to get to a party Logan & I went to
(A few hundred steps up & there's a pocket of homes with amazing views - while there's no direct car access, the residents all clearly save on gym fees)
Here's to a February that flashed by & our first one in over a decade that included shorts
